Berks Youth Sports

New to youth sports? It can be challenging to know what sports are offered, when their deadlines are, and how to register. We created this website as a one stop shop to help simply the search to get more families involved in youth sports!

We launched this project in the Governor Mifflin School District as a trial in the fall of 2023. We plan to open up this communication & awareness branding program to other Berks County School Districts in 2024! Interested in learning more? email heather@doitlocalberks.com

Participating School Districts

  • Governor Mifflin School District

    The Governor Mifflin School District includes students in Brecknock Elementary School, Cumru Elementary School, Mifflin Park Elementary School, Governor Mifflin Intermediate School and some youth programs also extend into the GM Middle School. (If your child home schools or attends a neighboring school but would prefer to play in the GM organizations, you may want to reach out to the organization to see if they can make an exception. Not all organizations are allowed to, but some can!)

  • Alvernia Youth Summer League

    Alvernia invites you to register your team for the 2024 Summer League at the PLEX!

    $400/ Team - have as many as you want (minimum 5) on your team. (Does not include team shirts)

    All teams will play 8-10 games

    Games are played Monday-Thursday, 3 a night, starting at 6pm-9pm.

    Space is limited to 8 teams per division. Register your team early using the link below!
